In order to protect and conserve the Amazon rainforest, we work closely with three local communities near the Lodge: Ayacucho de Tipishca, San Juan de Yanayacu, and Nuevo Junín.

Through this collaboration, we support sustainable tourism practices, promote environmental education, and help preserve local traditions. Our work with these communities creates meaningful experiences for travelers while contributing to the conservation of biodiversity and improving the quality of life of local families. At Curassow Amazon Lodge, we believe in the importance of giving back to the community. In partnership with the Nevada Building Hope Foundation, we support local communities by providing access to essential medicines, emergency transportation, and educational and healthcare programs. Your stay directly contributes to improving the quality of life of these communities and strengthening the connection between conservation and human development.

We are committed to conserving and protecting the natural resources of the area. In harmony with nature, we build our facilities and bungalows using reforestable wood and renewable jungle materials such as palm leaves and fast-growing trees. This conscious approach allows us to offer an authentic Amazon experience while contributing to the preservation of this unique environment. In addition, our energy comes from solar panels, ensuring minimal environmental impact and a comfortable, sustainable stay.
