Our name
The legend of Piurí. Our lodge is named after this mystical legendary bird, symbol of the Peruvian Amazon. In the past, the Piurí was a common animal in the region. However, its indiscriminate hunting brought it to the brink of extinction. Today, thanks to our conservation programs and those of local communities, this mystical bird once again took to the skies. Named after this species, Curassow Amazon Lodge offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and learn about the importance of conservation.

Our 10 bungalows offer you a paradise of peace overlooking an environment of pure nature. Choose from our different cabin options: Double, single, double, triple or family. Each one has a private bathroom, a balcony with a hammock, and outlets that will provide you with energy 24 hours a day to charge cell phone batteries, cameras, laptops, flashlights and lighting. In the bathrooms you will find clean towels every day, purified water, soap and shampoo. All cleaning supplies are biodegradable.
