Our name
Our lodge is named after the mystical Piurí, a legendary bird that symbolizes the Peruvian Amazon. Once common throughout the region, the Piurí faced near extinction due to overhunting. Today, thanks to our conservation efforts and the dedication of local communities, this remarkable bird soars through the skies once again. Curassow Amazon Lodge, inspired by this species, invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of the jungle and discover the vital importance of conservation firsthand.

Our ten bungalows offer a peaceful paradise, surrounded by the pristine beauty of the Amazon. Choose from a variety of cabin options: single, double, triple, quadruple, or family. Each bungalow has a private bathroom, a balcony with a hammock, fans, lighting, and 24-hour electricity. Clean towels, purified water, soap and shampoo are provided daily, and all cleaning products are biodegradable. Built with local jungle materials, our bungalows offer an authentic Amazon experience.
